Vietnam Rice Prices Mostly Lower Tuesday

Vietnamese rice export prices were mostly lower in the week to Tuesday as local farmers prepared to start a new harvesting season.

In June, Vietnam is expected to export 450,000 MT of rice valued at $143 million, down 10.5% on year in volume but up 5.1% in value.

Prices for high-quality 5% broken rice closed at $303 PMT, FOB down from $307 PMT, FOB last week, and 25% broken grade at $285 PMT, FOB down from $290 PMT, FOB a week ago.
