CBOT Rice Review: US Rice Ends Limit-up In Rebound

Chicago Board of Trade rice futures settled up the 50-cent daily limit on Friday on a technical bounce after the spot contract fell to a six-week low.

November rice closed up 50 cents at $18.34-1/2 per cwt; back months up 16 to 50 cents. Volume was thin at an estimated 566 futures and 58 options, a factor that added to volatility. Daily limit in rice widens to 75 cents for Monday's session.
