CBOT Rice Review: Soars 75-Cent Limit To Record Highs

Chicago Board of Trade rice futures climbed to fresh all-time highs Thursday as the market scrambled to ration demand and catch up with surging Asian prices.

Nearby May rice soared the expanded daily limit of 75 cents to $23.30 per cwt, up from $10.11 a year earlier. July rice jumped 75 cents to $23.62 1/2, up from $10.50 last year.
