CBOT Rice Review: Nearbys Settle Limit Up On Thin Spec Buying

Chicago Board of Trade rice futures soared Wednesday, with May setting an all-time high on monthly continuous open auction charts as light speculative buying and thin short covering pushed prices to higher levels.

May rice settled limit up, or 50 cents higher, at $19.05 per cwt. July also ended up 50 cents, at $19.33.
