Commercials Add To CBOT Short Rice Positions

Large commercial traders increased their short CBOT rice futures and options on futures positions by 510 contracts and trimmed their long positions by 91 contracts and are now net short 8,039 contracts as of March 13, the CFTC reported Friday.

Large speculative traders added 280 contracts to their long positions and reduced their short positions by 251 contracts and are now net long 5,512 rice futures and options on futures positions, the CFTC said.
