CBOT Rice Review: Settles Lower; Technical Selling Weighs

Chicago Board of Trade rice futures ended lower in very light trading Tuesday as technical selling in the absence of fresh news limited upside interest.

May rice declined 9 1/2 cents to $10.74 per hundredweight and November fell 5 cents to $11.53.

The lack of buying interest accelerated the losses with light sell-stops pushing the market to its lows of the session before buying interest emerged.
