In the south, long grain rice prices were mostly steady, instances 25 cents lower, quoted mostly at 19.00-19.50; medium grain prices were steady, quoted mostly at 22.00-25.00; parboiled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly from 20.00-25.00; second heads were steady to instances 25 cents lower; brewers were steady to instances 50 cents lower.
