The rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (Reap) has started its efforts to re-capture the potential Saudi Arab market to export rice.

A Reap delegation met the Saudi Consul General in Karachi on Wednesday. Since the trend in Saudi Arabia has changed by consuming more Parboiled rice than White rice, the exporters in Pakistan have started to put up parboiled plants just to cater the Saudi Arabia market.

So, in the next few years Pakistan would be able to dominate the Saudi market as the quality and aroma of Pakistan's rice is the best in the world.
