Peru: Rains help rice harvest of Lambayeque

As informed, thanks to the precipitations registered, the agricultural campaign of rice farming in the department of Cajamarca has been saved.

Now rice farmers can wait for good results from the approximately 25,000 hectares of rice seeded.

It is expected that will be new rains in April to fill the deposit of Tinajones, so these cubic meters from rains would be enough to initiate the next sowing of rice and cotton.
