Nicaragua earmarks $148 million to farming community

Nicaragua will destine 148 million dollars to the farming cultive to initiate the agricultural cycle, that begins on May and finishes in April 2008.

The government hopes to obtain a production increase of a ten percent. During 2007-2008 agricultural cycle they will give priority to food production, among them basic grain like rice, maize, frijol and sorghum.
