Panama: Rice ‘reinforcement’ increases cereal’s price

Rice ‘reinforcement’ of Panama, or fortification /the addition to the grain of iron, vitamin A and complex B could duplicate the cereal price to the consumer.

In Costa Rica the reinforced rice increased its price between a 1.5% and a 2%.
