Indian University Releases New Crop Varieties

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in India has released 10 new rice varities including a medium fine white rice variety with 9,625 kg per hectare yield.

The new crop releases include blackgram (VBN(BG)5, groundnut - VRI (Gn)6, Bhendi hybrid A (COGhH1) and a jack fruit variety (PLR(J)2.
