The Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Feeding of Spain, (MAP) has delayed the decision to import rice until May after the meeting with ASAJA, Federation of Rice Dealers of Seville, COAG, UPA and CCAE.

Producers urged to interrupt the import of 100,000 MT of rice because the entrance of the cereal harmed the agriculturists and affected the market.

The Federation of Rice dealers of Seville (FAS) has shown its satisfaction by the decision of the Spanish Government.
