Vietnam: Government Allocates 2200 MT For Flood Hit Areas

In order to help the residents affected by the recent flooding in the country, the Government of Vietnam has decided to supply VND32 billion (US$2 million) and 2,200 MT of rice.


The decision states that Quang Nam will receive VND7 billion ($43,000) and 500 tonnes of rice; Thua Thien-Hue will get VND15 billion ($93,000) and 1,000 tonnes of rice, and Quang Ngai will receive VND5 billion ($32,000) and 500 tonnes of rice. Hoa Binh will receive 200 tonnes of rice.
