Vietnam: Farmers Moving From Rice To Oranges

In an interesting development, more and more farmers are moving away from rice cultivation in Vietnam's Ngai Nhi hamlet belt to plant oranges.

Thick-skinned orange trees have brought about high incomes for farmers in the district. Many households earn VND 150-200 million a hectare annually which is much more than rice cultivation would have fetched.
