Thailand Exports To Reach 10 Mil MT

Rice exports from Thailand, the world's top supplier, are likely to reach 10 million MT this year, higher than earlier projections of 9.5 million MT.

According to Chookiat Ophaswongse, president of the Thai Rice Exporters Association Thai exports in the first six months of the year were already close to 6 million MT and need to export only around 700,000 MT a month to reach a total export volume of 10 million MT.
