Thailand January Exports Up 29% On Year

According to the latest figures released by Thailand's Commerce Ministry's Department of Foreign Trade, Thailand's rice exports in January are expected to reach 800,000 MT, up 29% on year.

Thai 100% grade B is currently offered at $385 PMT, FOB, compared with $310 PMT same period last year, and jasmine fragrant rice is currently at $680 PMT, FOB against $520-$530 PMT last year.

 Thailand's total rice exports this year are projected at 8.75 million MT, worth $3.3 billion.
