Thailand To Sell 758,954 MT From Stocks

Thailand's Commerce Ministry has decided to sell a combined 758,954 MT of white 5% broken rice and jasmine fragrant rice from its current rice stocks.

The ministry had earlier offered 820,615 MT of rice accumulated under the 2004-05 and 2005-06 crop years for sale at an auction on Oct. 2. Of the total,443,715 MT was white 5% broken rice and 376,900 MT was jasmine fragrant rice.
