Thailand Sells 130,000 MT To Iran

Thailand has sold 130,000 MT of its 100% grade B white rice to Iran in a government-to-government deal whose shipments are likely to run from July through September.

Iran, one of Thailand's key rice buyers, has bought up to 610,000 MT of Thai rice so far this year. Of this, 510,000 MT were in a government-to-government deal.

The rice was sold around $340 PMT,FOB Bangkok.
