Taiwan: Aid to Nicaragua

As reported by Taiwan Radio International from Taipei, recently the Embassy of the Republic of China in Nicaragua gave rice and bean seeds to Nicaragua to help the Central American country to eradicate the poverty,

During the ceremony of the program "Hunger Zero" the Ambassador of the Republic of China promised that Taiwan will continue cooperating with Nicaragua for the improvement of its economic and social development. It added that rice and beans are basic foods for Nicaraguans.

The production of both products is not sufficient to cover the domestic necessities. With the donation of Taiwan more than 20,000 families of farmers will increase its production.
