Philippines Not Worried By The Recent Typhoon Rains

The Philippines Department of Agriculture have downplayed any threat to the country's rice production after a series of typhoons slammed into the northern part of Philippines late Sunday evening.

According to experts, more than the damage, the typhoons Hagibis and Mitag have ensured sufficient water levels in the country's water reservoirs, the main source of irrigation water in major rice producing provinces in the northern Philippines.
