Thailand Agrees To Supply 300,000 MT To Philippines

Reports coming out from the Philippines state-run National Food Authority, NFA have revealed that Thailand has agreed to supply 300,000 MT of rice to the Philippines to serve as buffer stocks for the last quarter of the year.

This year's largest importer of rice, the Philippines has so far signed contracts to import 1.71 million MT of the grain against an import quota of 2.1 million MT.
