Pakistan Hopeful of Exporting Rice Worth $3 Billion

The newly elected chairman of Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) has expressed hope that Pakistan would be able to export rice valued $3 billion in the current fiscal year.

According to the REAP chairman, Rahim Janoo, not only the exports of rice have increased, but also important decisions were being made relating to the rising prices of rice and combating hoarding and smuggling.
