According to some reports in Cambodia's local press, the Prateak Krala Dam in Kampot province of Cambodia fell apart early Tuesday
morning leading to floods which have damaged hundreds of hectares of rice fields.

Howevere the deputy provincial governor Khoy Khun Huor has said  that no one was injured during the collapse, as there was a timely evacuation.

According to unofficial reports, the collapse has caused the flooding of 1,000 hectares of paddy fields and left up to 3,000 families without access to water.
