France Supports Ghana Rice Industry

France is providing an amount of 12,500,000 Euros credit and 1,300,000 euros of grant to the governments of Ghana for supporting the rice industry in the Northern, Upper East, Upper West and Volta regions of Ghana. 

The project called Support to Rice Sector Project, aims at developing lowland rice production in the selected regions and would also provide water control infrastructures and technical support to farmers.
